Submission and Authorship Policy
Synthesis: A Multidisciplinary Research Journal upholds rigorous standards for submission integrity and author accountability. This policy ensures that all contributions are ethically sound and aligned with international best practices.
Originality and Simultaneous Submission
-
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere at the time of submission.
-
Simultaneous or duplicate submissions are considered unethical and will result in immediate rejection or post-publication retraction.
Authorship Criteria
-
All listed authors must have made a substantial scholarly contribution to the work.
-
Synthesis adheres to the authorship guidelines set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
-
According to ICMJE recommendations, authors must meet all four criteria:
-
Significant contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis;
-
Drafting or critically revising the manuscript;
-
Final approval of the version to be published;
-
Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work.
-
-
Practices such as ghost, guest, or honorary authorship are strictly prohibited.
ORCID iD Integration
-
Authors are strongly encouraged to include their ORCID iDs upon submission. ORCID ensures unambiguous author identification and enhances visibility across databases.
Funding and Conflict of Interest Disclosure
-
Authors must disclose all funding sources and financial or personal conflicts of interest related to the submitted research.
-
Failure to disclose relevant information may lead to editorial action, including retraction.
By enforcing these policies, Synthesis aims to maintain transparency, trust, and scholarly excellence in every published work.
